From November 3rd to 7th, the school was transformed into a little piece of Britain through a special program offered by English in Action. During this English Week, everything revolved around the English language and culture. The students had the opportunity to learn from three native speakers, who made every day exciting, fun, and interactive.
During the whole week, the students explored a variety of topics: British food, culture, famous sights, geography, grammar and much more. The took part in quizzes and games that helped them improve their English in a playful way. One of the highlights was the cooking sessions – the students prepared a traditional English breakfast and delicious shortbread cookies, making the experience even more authentic.
The grand finale took place on Friday during the 5th and 6th lessons. In the gym, the students put on a short performance to present what they had learned throughout the week. Everyone spoke only English, and it was impressive to see how confident they had become in such a short time.
It was a week full of new experiences, teamwork, laughter and lots of English. The students learned, cooked, performed and most importantly, they had fun!
